I have hot water! But my dog hurt my cat :(
Hi again everyone. Well, I am sooo HAPPY to report that I FINALLY have HOT water. I am waiting a few more hours to take a shower cause I want it to be WORTH it! I turned the water heater almost all the way to hot so that I DEF have plenty of hot water. So I let the cats up today to get some “me time” cause they are always downstairs cause the dogs (mainly LeRoy) don’t get along so well with the cats. Well, everything was going fine for about an hour. Then, out of nowhere, LeRoy went after my cat, Pretty. He really went after her too and I started screaming and got up and he finally left her alone but she was (as was I) TERRIFIED. So she ran and hid in a corner and was making her I am VERY mad noises and holding up one of her paws. I laid down with her and gave her TONS of treats. It took her about 5-10 minutes to let me pet her and for her to eat the treats but she finally did so that is a good sign. I wanted to see her walk so I went downstairs, knowing she would follow me and she did. She is limping and holding up her one front paw so I hope it is nothing too serious and that she will be ok. I stayed down there, started some laundry and cleaned out the litter boxes so I could keep my eye on her. She is hiding out and I am worried about her. I am leaving the dogs locked up the rest of the day and evening so I can leave the door open so she can come up if she wants to and I will be checking on her often. These damn animals! If it is not one thing, it is another ;( I really just hope she is okay. The vet told me before that LeRoy, despite his size, should not be ablel to truly hurt the cats by stepping or pouncing on them due to their being so malleable, so long as he doesn’t bite them and puncture them with his GIGANTIC teeth. So, I am thinking positively and will keep them separated as I normally do… Staying on track with food today. I am READY to lose this next week so LOOK out! Awww… It’s sad when you have two animals in the home that don’t get along… Did you just get the cat? I’m wondering why they aren’t geting along… Either way, I hope things work out soon enough.

Naughty! Well my dog even at 12.5 lbs hates cats so who knows.
I also know my inlaws cats can be dramatic and I’ve seen them hold their paws up for the smallest thing. I am sure she’s ok, well I hope so!
Nope, I have had the cat for a little over 6 years! The dog is just a big butt head sometimes. And it totally comes out of no where! I just got in from going out to dinner so I need to go check on her! She was eating and walking earlier so those are good signs. Her leg is swollen though and there is a mark on it so I know she is actually not faking it. Poor baby.
